A Mentoring Program at Ken-O-Sha School

One-on-one, positive attention from a responsible, caring adult can make a huge difference in the life of an at-risk child!

KIDS HOPE USA is a program in which an Alger Park member is paired up with an at-risk child at Ken-O-Sha Elementary School. The mentors spend one hour per week at the school reading, talking, listening, playing games, and helping with schoolwork. By giving “their student” undivided attention, mentors help the children feel loved and valued - and that leads to emotional and social growth, and academic success!

If you would like to join the Alger Park KIDS HOPE team, or would like more information about supporting the students and staff at Ken-O-Sha School, contact Karen at 452-9686.
